Hunter is a PGY-1 pharmacy resident at UF Health Shands Hospital. He is originally from Wichita, KS and received his PharmD from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. Hunter’s current interests include infectious diseases and emergency medicine. In his free time, Hunter enjoys crafting cocktails, PC gaming, and baking.

Jessica is a PGY-1 pharmacy resident at UF Health Shands Hospital. She is originally from Charleston, SC and received her PharmD from the Medical University of South Carolina. Jessica’s interest areas include oncology and nutrition. In her free time, she enjoys being out on the boat, playing with her dog Abby, and trying new restaurants.

Lily is a PGY-1 pharmacy resident at UF Health Shands Hospital. She is originally from Ocilla, GA and received her PharmD from the University of Georgia. Lily’s current interests include critical care, emergency medicine, and internal medicine. In her free time, Lily enjoys watching football and baseball (Go Dawgs and Braves!), cooking, exploring local restaurants and breweries, and spending time with friends and family.

Zachary Johnson

Zachary is a PGY-1 pharmacy resident at UF Health Shands Hospital. Originally from Tampa, FL and he received his PharmD from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Gainesville campus. Zach’s current interests are pediatric, oncology, and pharmacy informatics, and he hopes to pursue a PGY-2 in one of these areas. In his free time, he enjoys walking hiking trails, bird watching, and attempting to cook.

Danielle Casaus

Danielle is a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases pharmacy resident at UF Health Shands Hospital. She is originally from Kingston, TN and earned her PharmD from East Tennessee State University. Danielle completed PGY1 pharmacy residency training at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC. Her professional interests include mechanisms of resistance in Gram-negative bacteria, therapeutic beta lactam monitoring, and antimicrobial stewardship. In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and decorating for holidays.

Chris Baladad

Chris is a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases pharmacy resident at UF Health Shands Hospital. He is originally from Los Angeles, CA and received his PharmD from Keck Graduate Institute School of Pharmacy and completed PGY-1 pharmacy residency training at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. His professional interests include immunocompromised ID, bacteria resistance, and antimicrobial combination therapies. In his free time, Chris enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and watching true crime documentaries on Netflix.

Emma is the PGY2 Oncology pharmacy resident and completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at UF Health Shands Hospital. She is originally from Menomonee Falls, WI and received her PharmD from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Gainesville campus. She does not know which area of oncology she is most interested in yet, but looks forward to gaining experience in different practice settings this year. In her free time, Emma enjoys bird watching, reading, and playing board games.

Alex is a PGY-2 Pediatric pharmacy resident and completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at UF Health Shands Hospital. She is originally from Westfield, MA and received her PharmD from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Gainesville campus. Her professional interests include pediatric infectious diseases, general pediatrics, and neonatal critical care. In her free time, Alex, enjoys relaxing with friends, playing with her dog Melon, traveling with my boyfriend Jake.
